Leicester Atletco attempted to react after the break, showing more intent and pushing forward in an effort to get into the match. However, Rangers responded with even more intensity. They increased their dominance in midfield, where they imposed themselves and kept Atletco at bay with efficient pressing and excellent ball circulation.
Atletco struggled to regain any meaningful control of the match. When they did manage to create chances, they were thwarted by the solid defensive organization and quick transitions from Rangers.
